Remember that your spouse is sharing their perspective when they share their opinion. It is their perspective based on the way they handle decisions in life. You have a perspective too and share that in return. If you remember that it is their perspective it will not seem like criticism, it will keep you connected and in a sharing mode exchanging ideas and solutions.
