Relationship failing before marriage!

My fiance and I have been engaged for a year now, and all we've done since moving in together is fight and I mean nasty fights, he always has to be right, he belittles me all the time, we're in the middle of planning our wedding and we're already having major problems! Isn't this suppose to still be the honey moon stage??? And sometimes I get to the point were I feel it's not even worth hurting as much as I do.

I'm not sure how old you are or anything else. I do know that your having a major problem with a clash of ideas. What makes you happy doesn't make sense to him, What makes him happy has no worth to you. These core beliefs don't change. They will be there in both of you untill you decide to change them for yourselves.(They may be perfecte beliefs and healthy for you which needs to be concidered) There is nothing wrong with understanding that you love someone but can't share a relationship with that person. That seems to be the case. The fighting is a sign of stress on both your parts, and if you could ask for help with making these plans for marriage from others that may lessenthe stress or seem less threatening and managable to both of you. My suggestion is therapy. If you want to change whats going on learn some skills to help bridge the gap between you. Good Luck and let everyone here know how it works out!!
