In an unsubstantiated story of infidelity, a Virginia man is standing on a busy corner wearing a sign that reads: "I Cheated This is My Punishment." Apparently, this man identifying himself as "Taylor" says he had an affair that was discovered by his wife when she picked up his cell phone and saw nude pictures of him that were sent to his lover. The couple fought and he asked what he could do to repent and receive forgiveness. She told him to wear the sign. The couple has been coy about details--including their true identities--but that doesn't make this story any less interesting. Will a scarlet letter in the 21st century work? I guess if this story is not a hoax and the wife takes him back, the answer might be yes. What are your thoughts?
