Less Than Half of French Find Infidelity Morally Unacceptable

A new survey from the Pew Research Center found that just 47% of people in France say, "married people having an affair is morally unacceptable." This level of acceptance is the greatest among the 39 nations in the survey. The next closest was Germany where 60% find marital infidelity morally unacceptable. The United States was among the nations in the bottom-third with 84% finding cheating a no-no. Muslim nations were the least accepting appearing in nine of the final 10 spots on the list.
