A Wife's Temperament May Determine Success of Marriage

A new study suggests that marriage success may depend quite a bit on the temperament of the wife. Researchers at UC Berkeley  studied 80 middle-aged and older heterosexual couples and found wives who had  greater control of their emotions and were constructive in their  communication skills had more satisfying and successful marriages. Interestingly, the emotions of the husband during the study didn't have an effect. Southern California news channel, KTLA, interviewed a couple to discuss their success.
