"Wow, your story reminds me of what I'm going through. I'm Puerto Rican and was raised like the way you said your husband was raised, but my thoughts and dreams were much different than what I was use to seeing around me; I wanted…"
My father always had this saying, "The way you got'em is the way ya keep'em!"
I'm a 24, soon to be 25, inspiring fashion designer. Have been married to my (sometimes lovely) husband for a year and two months. We just got our first place together last year, in July. He just graduated from the Police Academy, March 7th 2009. I'm sooooo very proud of him. I've watched him blossom, for three years now of being an item, into the honorable young man he is today.
I hope to be doing the balancing act this year, managing college and home life! I'll be attending two schools- a Teach college ( because I'm bored NOW! due to newly learned heart issues, I'm unable to work temporarily), and in the Fall, I'll be attending SCAD, Savannah College of Art and Design, majoring in Fashion Design. I'll be a part-time student when I attend SCAD and driving three hours there and back. That's why the part-time-student thing, so it can be feasible! My husband understands. Fashion is all I know! And I don't want to be 'working' my whole life- I want a career, something I'm passionate about and, don't mind waking up at God awful hours to do.
Wish me.....and us, luck!!!!!
